WRITER DIRECTOR CREATIVE
Emma is a filmmaker from Sydney, Australia.
Emma has been featured for her music video work in Billboard, Galore, Refinery29, Ladygunn, Nylon, Flaunt, Pop-Dust, and Ones to Watch. Known for her bold use of color, narrative concepts, and love of mixed media, Emma enjoys pushing creative boundaries and working with new artists. Following on from her work directing each of the six episodes of “I’ll Ask The Stupid Questions”, an interview-focused documentary show created by and starring Korean pop-star Amber Liu, Emma is in the process of developing documentary projects of her own. Beyond music videos and documentary, Emma is currently in post-production on her first narrative short, as well as exploring commercial work.
In addition to her filmmaking, Emma also works as a freelance writer, visual researcher, and treatment designer for major music videos, commercials, film, and television. She has resided in Los Angeles for over a decade, which has gifted her with a menagerie of rescue animals while robbing her of her native accent.
Emma received her Bachelor of Arts from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Film Production with a minor in Screenwriting.
